Terms of use

These terms cover the Connor: Citizenship Test AU app and the website citizenshiptestquiz.com.au. By using them you agree to these terms.

An independent study aid

Connor is an independent, unofficial study aid. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to the Australian Government or the Department of Home Affairs, and it is not an official government service. It does not grant citizenship and it does not book or run the citizenship test. The practice questions are written from publicly available material, mainly Australian Citizenship: Our Common Bond, which you can read free on the Home Affairs website.

No visa or migration advice

Connor, including Ask Connor, does not advise on visas, permanent residency, eligibility, documents or pathways. For that, contact the Department of Home Affairs or a registered migration agent.

Practice is not the real test

A practice mock in Connor is a pass only when all 5 values questions are correct and at least 15 out of 20 are correct overall. Passing a practice mock does not mean you will pass the real test. Real test questions are not public and can differ from Connor's questions. We do not promise or guarantee any result. Please also read the official booklet and use the official practice test on the Home Affairs website.

Accuracy

We check the questions against Our Common Bond and show the date of the last check in the app. Mistakes can still happen. If you find one, use Report this question in the app or email us, and we will look at it.

Ask Connor

Ask Connor is a study guide built into the app. His answers come from the app's study guide and practice questions, which are our own summaries of Our Common Bond. They can still be wrong and are not the advice of a person. Check anything important against Our Common Bond.

Price and payment

The study guide, 20 practice questions, one full mock test and the other free features cost nothing. Full access is a one-off payment of A$6.99 (including GST) through Google Play. It is not a subscription, it does not renew and it does not expire while the app is available. Google Play's terms apply to the payment. You can restore full access on another Android device signed in to the same Google account.

Refunds and your rights

Refund requests for Google Play purchases go through Google Play. You can also email us. Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these terms limits those rights.

Using the content

The app, its questions, explanations and design belong to Karri Apps, except material from Our Common Bond, which belongs to the Commonwealth of Australia. You may use Connor for your own study. Please do not copy, resell or scrape the questions.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, Connor is provided as is, and our liability is limited to supplying the service again or refunding what you paid. This does not affect your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

Changes and law

We may update these terms and will change the date at the top when we do. These terms are governed by the law of Western Australia.
